Thank you for choosing to host your event at the Asian Art Museum!

The following page contains pertinent information about items to be completed as well as important documents you will need to submit prior to your event date.


Balance of License Fees

The balance of license fees and refundable security deposit are due 30 days prior to your event date. Payments are accepted in the form of checks made out to the “Asian Art Museum Foundation”, Cashier’s checks or wire transfers. The museum’s banking information is available upon request.


Your certificate of insurance is due 30 days prior to your event date. Samples of appropriate certificates and endorsements can be found on the last two pages of your agreement.  Insurance requirements and the names of the additional insureds can be found on page 4 of your agreement.

Many clients choose to use EventHelper or Wedsafe to acquire certificates. Should you use your own insurance provider please ensure the following insureds are included in both documents as follows: “The Asian Art Museum – Chong Moon Lee Center for Asian Art and Culture, its Commissioners, the Asian Art Museum Foundation of San Francisco, its Trustees, the City and County of San Francisco, and each of their respective officers, employees, and agents”.

Photographer & Videographer Application

All photographers and videographer must complete and sign a photography form acknowledging the museum’s photography and image release policies. This form is due 14 days prior to your event date. The form must be completed and signed by both the Sponsor’s signatory or Event contact and the photography/videography company.
